Barnt Green Waters had the pleasure of hosting Stuart Moodie, Environment Manager West Midlands and his team of Environmental Scientists and Ecologists from the West Midlands region of the Canal & River Trust for their group meeting in the Boathouse Venue.
Once the Group had concluded their business, we had the opportunity to discuss the work we had been carrying out in partnership with the Trust to increase the biodiversity and improve the water quality on the Estate, and some of the issues we are facing before giving the team a guided walk of a section of the Estate.
It was great to see so many enthusiast people sharing knowledge and advice, and hope we may have the opportunity to repeat the exercise when the ground is not so wet!
